What we keep, and what we don’t.

The price tool

When you drop a file into Price my print, your browser reads it. The file is never uploaded, and we never see it. Your settings (printer, prices, rates) are saved in your own browser so they’re there next time. Clear your browser’s site data and they’re gone.

If you press Share, we save the numbers on the costing sheet (plate times, filament weights, the name you gave it and your settings) under a random link, so the link works for whoever you send it to. Shared results are deleted a year after anyone last opened them. To have one removed sooner, email us the link.

We count how many files are priced each day, by slicer, and how many links are shared. Those counts have no names, addresses or files attached.

The waitlist

We keep your email address and what you tell us about your shop: its name, how many printers you run, where you sell, and any note. We use them to tell you when Gyroid opens and, if you asked to be a founding shop, to get in touch about that. We don’t sell or share them, and we don’t add you to anything else.

Cookies and tracking

No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for the people who run Gyroid.

The site’s typeface, Inter, is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches it from Google. Google sees that request, as it would for any file, but it sets no cookies.
